THE JOCKEY CLUB

The Derby at Epsom is the historic, unmatchable birthplace of thoroughbred racing with a legacy of 243 years. In 2023, the focus was on positioning The Derby as an inclusive and accessible horseracing event that catered to a broad audience.

The goal was to highlight the event’s wide appeal, showcasing it as more than just a sporting occasion. From family-friendly activities that offered fun for all ages to a festival of fashion celebrating style and elegance, The Derby aimed to attract a diverse range of attendees. The emphasis was on making the event welcoming and enjoyable for everyone, whether they were racing enthusiasts, fashion lovers, or families looking for a memorable day out.

We carefully selected influencers to appeal directly to these new audiences, emphasising that everyone is welcome at The Derby.

We negotiated content that wouldn’t just be shared during Derby weekend but could also be repurposed and recut to drive ticket sales for the following year, ensuring long-term value from the campaign.
